    First Annual #LOVEHOPECURE Event

    November 6, 2015

LHCThumbOn November 6th, Elise’s Corner hosted their first annual #LOVEHOPECURE event. With over 475 guests in attendance, and nearly $400,000 raised, the Team was overwhelmed by the LOVE and support by so many people – most of whom had never even met Sweet Elise. From the amazing corporate sponsors to the big hearted attendees from our hometown community – the Event was literally busting at the seams. #LOVEHOPECURE, simply put, took over the Sheraton Suites for the evening….and from the moment she walked into the Event, Elise stole the hearts of absolutely everyone there!

#LOVEHOPECURE would not have been possible without the generosity and support of their sponsors, donors, guests, committee members, volunteers……not to mention some special Disney characters from ETC who presented Elise with her Make a Wish trip to DisneyWorld!!!!!

YOU all have made this Event possible and have infused Elise’s Corner with much needed HOPE. With this HOPE, the family remains confident that a CURE is just around Elise’s corner.

Meet Jordyn

“In May of 2015, Jordyn began having tremors. We were sent to St. Louis Children's Hospital for testing. On October 2, 2015, 2 months shy of her 2nd birthday, Jordyn was diagnosed with Alexander disease. We immediately got her into therapy and in just 6 months, she was walking on her own and making great strides in speech. We found out about a study going on at CHOP from our wonderful friends at Elise's Corner. My husband and I flew Jordyn to Philadelphia in February in an attempt to save our daughter's life. Jordyn has excelled because of her therapists and Dr. Waldman and the staff at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is defying the odds and continues to improve despite the diagnosis we were given. She's writing her own story and inspiring people as she goes.”
